In Classical education, we believe the quality of the content and the methods we use to deliver it matter as much as the place we teach in. Great Oaks Academy’s vision is to provide a beautiful and virtuous classical education that connects students from kindergarten through senior year to the grandeur of the world around them.
Our School of Logic and Rhetoric Campus will move to Eagan in the Fall of 2025 with 6th-9th grades. We will add a grade each year until we are a full K-12 school. This beautiful campus is just off the intersection of Hwy 13 and Blackhawk Road and will provide the same virtuous and rigorous Classical Education that Great Oaks is known for.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be transportation?
Yes, we will offer transportation to the Eagan Campus. We will provide buses from our Farmington Campus, as well as from hubs in Lakeville. Specific routes will be determined once enrollment is settled.
Will there be an outdoor recreational area?
The Eagan campus has 16 acres of wonderful green space for students to play. We also plan to build a sports field.
Is there a gymnasium?
While we will not initially have a full-sized gym at this location, we are renovating a 3200+ square foot area which will be dedicated to recreation and physical activity, along with a second 1100+ square foot recreational space. The cafeteria will also be able to be converted into a third recreation or meeting area, as needed. Our long-term plans include the construction of a full-size gymnasium.
What grades will the Eagan Campus serve?
We will offer multiple sections of 6-9th grade starting in the fall of 2025. We will add higher grades each year until we reach 12th grade. We have plans to build a K-5 space in the third phase of our expansion.
Will there be enough time for renovations?
Because the existing structure is of such high quality and because its layout is flexible, renovations will be affordable and manageable in the timeline we have. The contractor plans to begin construction in February of 2025 and is confident that everything will be completed in time for the 2025-2026 school year.
