“Through Difficulties to Greatness”
At Great Oaks Academy, the motto Per Angusta ad Augusta—“Through Difficulties to Greatness”—is not just a guiding principle, but a reflection of the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
Our students consistently perform 20+ points above their peers in state and national tests, which demonstrates that rigorous, classical education leads to outstanding achievement.
Maintaining a low-technology environment and emphasizing core learning fosters critical thinking and intellectual growth—proving that success is achieved through discipline, focus, and the pursuit of excellence, not shortcuts or reliance on technology.

A Classical Education
for a Lifetime
of Flourishing
A classical education goes beyond academic success; it prepares students for a lifetime of growth and achievement.
By focusing on core subjects like literature, history, mathematics, and the arts, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning.
This strong foundation helps them navigate life’s challenges with wisdom and integrity, setting them up for success both in school and in their future careers.
We believe that the skills learned today will serve our students throughout their lives, shaping them into thoughtful, responsible individuals.
